Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
Scope and status
This page is the single source of privacy, memory, and security information for Living Literature.
Living Literature is operated by Rayan B. Vasse. Contact: support@living-literature.org.
Current live status: the public site does not require account registration. Public demos are available in limited form.
Who this applies to
This policy applies site-wide to:
- public visitors browsing pages
- users of demo #1 (Prometheus/Selene book demos)
- users of demo #2 (indices + interpretation flow)
- people contacting us by email
- future members, if/when account continuity is launched
What data we collect (live now)
Browsing: standard technical request data is processed by hosting/security infrastructure (for example IP address, browser/user-agent, requested URL, timestamp, and response status).
Email contact: if you email us, we process your email address and message content to respond.
Demo content: text you submit in demos is transmitted to model/API services to generate responses. Living Literature is designed not to keep a permanent copy of demo prompts or responses in its own application layer.
In-page thread context: during a live demo session, a short conversation/history can be held in the page session to keep replies coherent. This is session-level context, not account-level long-term memory.
AI interactions, memory, and continuity
Public demos are previews, not full continuity systems.
- no account is required for current public demos
- public sessions are limited (for example, capped exchanges in demo #1)
- public users should not assume long-term personal memory across visits
If account-based continuity is introduced later, this policy will be updated with exact memory scope, controls, and deletion options.
Cookies, analytics, and anti-abuse controls
Living Literature uses technical and security controls that may include cookies or similar browser storage for core operation and abuse prevention.
Google Analytics is used on site pages to understand aggregate usage. reCAPTCHA is used on protected demo actions to reduce automated abuse.
We do not use this data for hidden personal profiling.
Third-party processors and services
Depending on feature and route, data may be processed by external service providers used by Living Literature, including:
- hosting/runtime and edge infrastructure providers
- model/API providers used for demo responses and interpretation workflows
- Google Analytics (aggregate site analytics)
- Google reCAPTCHA (abuse prevention)
- email provider infrastructure (for direct correspondence)
These providers process data under their own service terms and privacy notices.

Anthropic policy: anthropic.com/privacy.

Retention (live policy)
- Email correspondence: up to 24 months unless earlier deletion is requested.
- Public demo session context: session-level only; not retained by Living Literature as a permanent user profile.
- Site analytics/security logs: retained according to active provider configurations and operational needs.
- Future account/membership data: not active yet; retention terms will be added before launch.
Security posture
Living Literature applies practical security controls appropriate to current scope, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS), restricted server-side API handling, abuse controls, and operational access limitation.
No system can guarantee absolute security. If a material security incident affects personal data we control directly, we will assess notification obligations and act accordingly.
International data transfers
Because infrastructure and processors may operate internationally, your data may be processed outside your home country. Where required, we rely on applicable contractual and legal safeguards provided by our service stack.
Your rights and requests
If you are in the UK/EEA (and where applicable under other laws), you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we directly control.
To make a request, contact support@living-literature.org with enough detail for us to verify and process your request safely.
Children
This site is not designed for children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us directly, contact us and we will review and remove where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as features evolve. The latest version at this URL is the authoritative policy for privacy, memory, and security across Living Literature.
