Disclaimer
Living Literature is an AI-assisted reflective reading and interpretation system under active development. It is designed to support structured reflection, guided dialogue, and conceptual exploration. It is not a clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, legal, financial, or crisis service.
1. Prototype and evolving system
Living Literature is an evolving platform, not a finished or infallible product. Some parts of the ecosystem are public previews, prototypes, or early-stage implementations. Features, outputs, terminology, and behaviour may change as the system develops.
AI-generated responses, interpretive outputs, indices, and companion dialogues may be incomplete, inaccurate, overly broad, inappropriate, or simply wrong in some cases. They should be treated as reflective and exploratory material, not as authoritative truth.
2. Reflective tools, not assessments
The indices and frameworks presented in this ecosystem, including the Solitude Tolerance Inventory (STI), Persona Fluidity Inventory (PFI), Cross-Cultural Inventory (CCI), Bonding Tribes Inventory (BTI), Traits and Orientations Inventory (TOI), and Integrated Persona Reflection (IPR), are reflective tools designed to support self-exploration and structured dialogue.
They are not psychometrically validated assessments, not clinical instruments, and not scientific measurements of personality, mental health, or future behaviour. Any numerical, categorical, or interpretive output should be understood as illustrative scaffolding for reflection rather than as a diagnostic or predictive conclusion.
No significant personal, medical, psychological, relationship, educational, legal, or career decision should be made on the basis of these tools alone.
3. AI companions and AI-generated responses
The AI companions and dialogue systems on this platform, including Prometheus, Selene, and any lighter public-guide versions, are powered by large language model technology. They generate language based on instructions, context, uploaded materials, and system design. They do not possess consciousness, personal understanding, professional judgment, or independent responsibility.
Responses that feel personally accurate, insightful, or emotionally resonant may still be incomplete or mistaken. Apparent depth does not guarantee factual accuracy or psychological validity. The system is designed to assist reflection within the Living Literature framework, not to replace expert human care, qualified professional advice, or independent judgment.
4. Operating posture: conservative claims, clear boundaries, human support, and data transparency
Living Literature is designed to make conservative claims about what it can do. It aims to offer a more structured language for examining what may be happening in a person’s patterns, tensions, or reflective material. It is not designed to deliver final truths about who a person is, what they definitively mean, or what they should do.
The system is also designed to maintain clear boundaries. Its books, indices, and AI companions are interpretive and reflective tools, not sources of clinical authority, legal judgment, financial direction, or emergency guidance. Outputs should be treated as prompts for reflection and discussion, not as verdicts.
Where users encounter problems, concerns, harmful outputs, or uncertainty about how to use the system, Living Literature provides a human support route. Questions or concerns should be directed to support@living-literature.org, rather than treated as something the AI can finally resolve by itself.
Living Literature also aims to be transparent about data handling. Depending on the part of the system being used, conversations, uploaded materials, derived summaries, or interaction history may be processed in order to generate responses, improve continuity, or support account features. Users should consult the Privacy Policy and related notices for the current description of what is stored, how it is used, and what rights or choices may apply.
5. Not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or crisis advice
Living Literature does not provide medical advice, psychological treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis, psychiatric care, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency support. Nothing on this site creates a doctor-patient, therapist-client, solicitor-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
If you are facing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, suicidal thinking, acute psychiatric distress, or any other emergency, do not rely on this platform. Contact local emergency services, a crisis line, a qualified clinician, or a trusted person in your immediate environment.
If you require professional support on any serious matter, seek help from an appropriately qualified professional.
6. Research, papers, and exploratory claims
Research papers linked from this platform are preprints unless explicitly stated otherwise. Preprints have not necessarily undergone formal peer review and should be treated as provisional, exploratory, and open to revision.
Descriptions of methods, findings, or system capabilities should not be read as claims of clinical validation, universal accuracy, or scientific consensus unless expressly stated.
7. Patent and intellectual property wording
The Living Literature system is patent-pending. It covers the method of transforming books into adaptive AI-mediated reflective experiences.
It should not be described as protected by a granted patent unless and until that status is formally confirmed. References to the system's novelty, architecture, or intellectual property should be understood in that patent-pending context.
8. Author identity and credentials
Rayan B. Vasse is a pen name. The author holds a PhD in Genetics from Stockholm University, Sweden. That credential does not in itself make the Living Literature system a clinical, therapeutic, psychiatric, or medically supervised service.
The books, essays, tools, and companion systems published under this name are reflective, conceptual, and research-linked works unless explicitly identified otherwise.
9. Support, complaints, and human contact
If you encounter a harmful, misleading, inappropriate, or technically broken response, or if you have concerns about this system, please contact support at support@living-literature.org.
Questions about privacy, deletion, account issues, system behaviour, or uploaded materials should also be directed to support. Where relevant, concerns should be reviewed through ordinary human support rather than treated as something the AI can resolve by itself.
10. Legal rights
This disclaimer is intended to explain the scope and limits of the system. It is not intended to remove or limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
